Poor Design, August 1, 2011 By  Guan - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) The first time that I needed to use this paddle was a disaster. My boat lost power on the river. When I tried to use the paddle, the actual paddle part came off. Needless to say, this was not good. I was able to use the end to eventually reach shore, but I can assure you that this "paddle" will never go back in my boat.
