It wasn't difficult to put together, however, my canopy is NOT AS SHOWN. In this picture, you can clearly see the ties used to hold the "door" up and out of the way. On mine, there's two small squares of velcro, and the only piece of matching velcro that is feasible to hold it up is probaby 8 inches down, so it's not a nice tight roll. Even the instructions said to put something on the legs of the footboard/headboard, and we couldn't find those pieces anywhere, so we came to the conclusion that the directions were printed before they changed the design. Needless to say, it's put together, the loose floppy door is driving me nuts, but it seems sturdy, and, well, it's a bed. My son and our cat both hopped in there while I was trying to tuck the bedding we got to match in(no way will that ever fit in there nice and neat either lol) and my son(will be 2 in 2 months) laid down and told me night night and has been playing in... It's easy to get him to take naps in his big boy bed.The tent pictured comes with the bed. The headboard, footboard and guardrails are made of a sturdy plastic and the frame is made of thick and sturdy metal bars. The metal bars are threaded into a blue canvas material to support the mattress. It holds a regular crib mattress snug, with no chance of a little foot or toy getting caught in between (although my son has managed to shove a Matchbox car in there with much effort). The tent part is nice for novelty's sake, but it's probably going to come off soon- it's hard to put your sleeping toddler inside from the foot or head of the bed. There are only 2 stickers, as seen in the picture. I accidentally put both on the inside sections because I had expected 4 stickers. Setup is fairly quick and easy. You'll need a screwdriver and that's it for tools. The instructions for the tent may be a bit confusing if you've never put a real tent... We had it for a couple of months now and are very pleased with it so far.The frame was easy to assemble, but the instructions for how to attach the tent part were very vague and i thought that some parts were missing (nothing was missing). A call to Delta customer service cleared up the confusion. We had to take the tent part of it off because he was too excited and kept climbing in and out and tried to jump out (we will put it back on in a couple of years) |
