Fast shipping on this item ordered it on sunday and recieved the item on wednesday. It was easy to install this on my 995ts and it looks stock and matches the gun well. As for actual recoil/muzzle lift reduction, I think there is a small difference when shooting while standing up. Overall I like this compensator it looks good and helps improve my accuracy a little. The UAG Compensator for the Hi-Point 9mm Carbine is an excellent addition to any 995. It installs flawlessly within seconds and comes with everything you need. The finish on the compensator resembles the finish of the original iron sights rather than the shiny black finish of the barrel. I think this adds a cool contrast that works well with the overall look of the gun. As for recoil, it's difficult to tell whether or not it is being reduced because the rifle has so little recoil to begin with. Let's be honest though, you are considering buying this item for aesthetic purposes. There's nothing negative I can say about it, just buy it. One reviewer mentioned that his compensator came with an extra (5) tightening screws, however mine came with exactly 4. All you need it 4 anyways. There are a couple of different style muzzle brakes being offered for the Hi Point 9mm carbine 995 that I'm sure you have seen. For me, this was the nicer looking of the 2 as it just looked like a cleaner piece. The other one offered (Blue Muzzle Break/Comp 9704)just doesn't look right to me, but that is a personal preference. So I ordered on 8/22 and it arrived today, 8/26. Tactical Deals is located in NJ and I'm in Seattle so 4 day shipping was VERY impressive... The part arrived exactly as described and includes the allen wrench needed to install PLUS 1 extra screw just in case you're a knucklehead like me and drop 1 over the kitchen table and onto the floor on the other side (I didn't even bother to look for it)It mounts in maybe a minute or so and is a perfect fit. It looks like it was made at the factory when installed. Some may not like the 4 set screws that hold it on, but I do. It just fits with the gun.
