This review is from: Shirakiku Yam Noodles (7 oz X 12 Bags) (Misc.)
I heard about these noodles and I could'nt wait to try them. I read some of the reviews but figured there are always a few complainers in the bunch so I went ahead and placed my order. Low and behold the noodles arrived and I was first taken back by the smell. Fishy doesnt do it justice. The smell is very similar to a rotting potato, or in this case a yam. Also texturally the noodles were more similar to rice noodles than egg noodles. All and all the texture and smells did me in and I do not intend on trying these brown noodles again in the future.
