If the book you are referring has not the following section: "Kindle 2's Experimental Web Browser to Send SMS Text Messages" in the Table of Contents, then your review is invalid. The Keyboard shortcuts in the current edition of the book work perfectly fine. I have a Kindle 2 and have tested them myself. The Keyboard shortcut Keys are listed in various kindle forums and message boards and are reported by other Kindle 2 users as working perfectly. Why don't you list the shortcut keys that are not working? Be specific. Do you even have this edition of the book? I decided it was time to get one. I was really surprised when the kindle came with just a cardboard pamphlet on how to use it. While reading my first book, I lost my page. ( husband screwing around with all the buttons and menu) The kindle does not show the page you're on. I tried to go to sync but it didn't work. I was lost. I had to page forward for about 15 minutes to find my place. So I went looking for help. When I saw this guide, I purchased it.
