The seat and handlebars are a pretty contrast to the teal-blue of the bike. She is proud of it and rides it to the store for me 2-3 times a week. :) Added a nice Nantucket type basket to the front too. Have had it 4 months, and have had no problems. Glad we chose this one. :) 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Airwalk 26-Inch Clipper Teal Cruiser Bicycle (Sports) The first bike I ordered never showed up in the carrier's system. Amazon quickly shipped a new one and my experience has been quite positive. The package arrived with several holes torn in the box but no damage to the bike with the exception of a lost nut for the fender to fork bolt. This was a typical assembly of any shipped bike I have either purchased or shipped myself. It was easy and quick to assemble. It took about 10 minutes. The finish is very good and the color combination is exactly what my adult daughter wanted. Teal is somewhat unusual and contrasts well with the tan seat and grips. I'm confident it will provide years of riding enjoyment. By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Airwalk 26-Inch Clipper Teal Cruiser Bicycle (Sports) I have to say that this is a well made bike, and would have been something I really enjoyed...but it is so dented I can't even ride it! The protection in the packaging was so lacking that the chain cover is dented and rubs the chain, the seat leather has a hole in it, and both fenders are so bent that they rub the tires. I would ship it back for a refund, but the box was so torn up from shipping it to my house I can't even put it back in it! I was really hoping that it wasn't going to be messed up and that I would have no problems since it's almost 200 dollars for this bike, but no such luck. Oh well...guess now it can be a very expensive paper weight or something because it isn't even usable it is so dented. (I took pictures if anyone would like to see them) |
