I like it because: 1) It looks exactly like its picture. I didn't want a huge coffee table for my small apartment. So it was perfect size. 2) Comes with 2 handy drawers for my papers and documents - very very important to me. 3) Tired of Ikea- I did not want the standard ikea $40 table. First I didn't want to drive all the way to ikea and haul the box to my apartment. Liked the convenience of getting it home delivered. 4) Most important to me: The edges are not sharp!Why you may want to think: 1) it is not easy to put together (like Ikea) but took me 30 mins and just some creativity (I am average size girl with very less muscle power). 2) the finishing is not excellent. Bottomline: If you are looking for something small and non-expensive non-ikea, this meets your need. Definitely not a 4-star product for its quality or finishing. This is a cheap product, don't expect it to last for years (I'm thinking probably a year is a lifespan for this one). Assembly is a pain, let's put it this way - you need GLUE to put this thing together (glue is shipped with the product). Like most of the other reviewers, I found the quality and finish of this table to be somewhat substandard. I wasn't exactly disappointed though considering the price. Fresh out of the box, it already had some rough edges and some scuffs and gouges but for around $40 I wasn't expecting hardwood construction and master craftsmanship. For the price it serves its purpose, and it does exactly resemble the photo. I will mention though that the two light-colored drawers are made of a canvas-like cloth material and not wood as I had expected. Decent CHEAP table.3 stars for quality and 5 stars for price. |
